Proprietor Kim from Church & State Wines is at Sardis Park Wines this Saturday pouring:
2011 Trebella $19.90
Crisp, mineral texture complimented by an intense floral nose. Flavours of lemon zest, apricot and honeycomb on the palate. This wine has fantastic minerality and balanced acidity, making it a great choice of adventurous food pairings.
2011 Church Mouse Chardonnay $15.90
The wine has citrus aromas, with flavours of tangerine and a touch of the buttery character that comes with a bit of malolactic influence. Lees stirring contributed to a rich texture on the palate.
2010 Cab Franc $25.90
This wine is full, rich and expansive, with a silky mouth-coating texture and opulent flavours of ripe dark fruits, cassis, cedar and cigar box with tremendous length.
2010 Merlot $19.90
The fruit for this wine was hand-picked from the Coyote Bowl Vineyard on the Black Sage Bench. It was destemmed, and crushed into stainless tanks and kept on skins for 16 days before being pressed off and transferred into French Oak barriques (30% new oak) for the completion of malolactic fermentation. The wine was matured in barrels for 22 months with periodic rackings.
2008 Quintessential $49.91
Gold 2012 Canadian Wine Awards

Deep crimson in colour, almost inky. Rich black and red fruit on the nose, leads to deep flavours of raspberry, cherry, chocolate and hints of herbs. Mouth feel is rich and full, with delicate fine grained tannins. Long, lingering finish showing cedar and currant.
